The Runes of Honorius. Magic alphabet table.
The Theban alphabet (also the letter of angels, the angelic alphabet, the alphabet of Honorius, the alphabet of witches) is a 24—character writing system of unknown origin, which in the Middle Ages was used to hide various secret texts from the uninitiated. In his third book of Libri tres de occulta philosophia, the German magician and alchemist Agrippa of Nettesheim (1486-1535) reports that this alphabet was composed by a certain Honorius of Thebes. In their form, the signs of the Theban alphabet are similar to alchemical symbols, but as a whole, this system has nothing in common with any other known writing system.
