William Blake Temptation of Eve Print – Serpent & Eden Wall Decor
William Blake reproduction depicting the temptation of Eve, created as an illustration for John Milton’s poem Paradise Lost in a Symbolist mood: two nude human figures stand beside a tree. A huge serpent coils around the woman’s body and helps her bite the fruit.
Her body language suggests she is enjoying the moment. The artwork illustrates the biblical story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. The tree is the Tree of Life, and the serpent represents Satan. A striking reproduction for home wall decor or a gift with a religious or mystical feel.
Fine art print.
