Lilith Queen of the Night - Ancient Goddess Print

The Burney Relief, also known as the Queen of the Night, is one of the most striking images from ancient Mesopotamian art. According to one interpretation, the figure may be connected with Lilith; other readings link her with powerful goddess imagery such as Ishtar or Inanna.

The image shows a winged female figure with a horned crown, bird feet, owls, and lions. It has a strong ancient, mystical, and dark sacred atmosphere, combining themes of fertility, sexuality, power, war, night, and the underworld.
